Compare two PDF files

Someone sent back an edited contract and you want to know what actually changed? Drop both versions and we compare their text line by line, showing what was removed and what was added, in correct Arabic reading order. The comparison is text-only, no layout and no images, and it all runs on your own device.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is compared?

The text alone, line by line. Layout, images and element positions are not compared. A scan has no text layer of its own, so the page offers to read it here and then finishes the comparison, which is how you compare an original against the signed copy that came back scanned.

Does the order of the two files matter?

Yes. The first is treated as the older version and the second as the newer, so removed means present in the first and gone from the second, and added is the reverse. Drag them into order in the list before comparing.

I dropped more than two files. What happens?

Only the first two files in the list are compared. Remove the extras or reorder before running.
