Frequently asked questions
Is this a certified digital signature?
No. This places an image of your signature on the page, exactly as if you had signed on paper and scanned it. It is not a certificate-backed digital signature, so if an organisation requires one, use the platform they specify.
Can someone remove the signature afterwards?
The signature becomes part of the page content, but any capable PDF editor can modify any file. If you want to restrict editing, add a password with the Protect PDF tool.
Is my signature or file uploaded anywhere?
No. You draw in the browser and the signature is placed on the file on your own device. We never store your signature or send it anywhere.
Can I sign every page at once?
Yes. Choose all pages, or give a range like 1-3 if you only want certain pages.
