Files are processed on your device and never uploaded
Runs in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
Three steps, that's it
Drop two or more files into the tray
Arrange them in the order you want
Click merge, then download the result
What the merge tool does
The merge tool takes two or more PDF files and joins them into one, in the order you set. Every page is copied as it is: text stays selectable text, a scanned page stays an image at its original quality, and nothing is recompressed, resized or rotated. The result is an ordinary PDF that opens in any reader on a phone or a computer.
All of the work happens inside your browser. The files are never uploaded to a server and never pass through Khallas, which is why merging is safe for contracts, bank statements and personal documents you would rather keep on your own device. Close the tab and nothing remains, because the file never left.
When you need to merge PDFs
Most portals in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf accept one attachment, not several. Jadarat takes a single CV file, so certificates and experience letters have to sit behind it. Financing and visa applications ask for three months of bank statements as one document. An Ejar lease arrives with its annexes as separate files, and monthly ZATCA invoices archive better as one file per month.
Students collect a term's lecture slides into a single reference before an exam. Employees assemble a promotion file or a job application with the cover letter, degrees and experience certificates in the order the reviewer will read them. A court filing on Najiz goes in as one ordered document with its evidence attached behind it.
How to merge PDF files, step by step
Open the merge page and drag two or more PDF files into the tray, or tap it to pick them from your device or the Files app on a phone.
Drag the files into the order you want. The order of the list, top to bottom, is the order of pages in the final file.
Add a file you forgot with the add-files button, or remove one you do not need from the list before merging.
Click the merge button and wait a few seconds. A progress bar runs, then the result card appears with the size of the merged file.
Download the merged file, or share it straight to WhatsApp from the share row under the result.
Limits to know about
- The tool accepts PDF files only. To merge photos with a document, convert the photos first with the images-to-PDF tool, then merge the result.
- A password-protected file cannot be merged directly. Unlock it first with the unlock tool if you know the password.
- There is no limit on the number of files from our side, but the work runs on your device, so a batch that adds up to hundreds of megabytes can be slow on an older phone.
- Bookmarks are not carried into the merged file, and interactive form fields may stop being fillable. If the form matters, flatten it with the flatten tool before merging.
- The page order inside each file does not change. To reorder specific pages or drop a page from the middle, use the organize tool after merging.
Common problems and fixes
The file is password protected
You see a message that the file is protected. Run it through the unlock PDF tool with the correct password, then drop the unlocked file here.
Arabic letters look broken or reversed in the merged file
Merging never touches the text, so broken letters were already in the source file, or the reader you are using lacks the font. Open the result in another reader such as Chrome or Adobe Reader to confirm.
The merged file is too big to send
Merging adds the sizes together as they are. Run the merged file through the compress PDF tool: light for text documents, strong for scans.
The merge button does nothing
Merging needs at least two files. Add another one, and check that the files are PDFs rather than images or Word documents.
The pages came out in the wrong order
The output follows the list from top to bottom. Drag the files into the right order and merge again; a run takes seconds.
Frequently asked questions
How do I merge PDF files into one on my phone?
Open the page in your phone browser, Safari or Chrome, tap the tray to pick the files from the Files app, or from WhatsApp after saving them, then drag them into order and tap merge. There is no app to install and no account to create, and the merged file lands in your downloads or goes straight out through the share row.
Does merging change the page order?
No. Files are merged in the order you see in the list, top to bottom, and the pages inside each file keep their original order. To put one file before another, drag it into place before clicking merge. To reorder individual pages after merging, use the organize tool, which shows every page as a thumbnail.
How many files can I merge at once?
There is no limit imposed on the number of files. Because the work runs on your device rather than a server, dozens of files merge smoothly on any modern machine, and the only factor is their combined size and your device's memory. A batch that adds up to hundreds of megabytes can be slow on an older phone.
Does it work with scanned Arabic PDFs?
Yes. Merging copies pages exactly as they are with no recompression or processing, whether they hold Arabic or English text or scanned images. Page orientation, fonts and scan quality are untouched. If you want the scan to become searchable, run the merged file through the Arabic OCR tool afterwards.
Are my files uploaded to a server when merging?
No. Merging runs entirely inside your browser with code that downloads to your device, and no file is sent to our servers or to any third party. You can check this by turning off the internet after the page loads and running the merge; it works as normal. That is why it is safe for bank statements, contracts and government documents.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. An encrypted file refuses to open and you see a message that it is protected. If you know the password, run it through the unlock PDF tool first and merge the unlocked file. If you want the merged file itself to be protected, run it through the protect PDF tool afterwards with a new password.
Does the merged file lose quality or get bigger?
It does not lose quality, because pages are copied without any recompression. The size is roughly the sum of the files you merged, since every image and font is carried over as it is. If the result is over the limit for email or WhatsApp, use the compress PDF tool after merging to bring it down.
