How to photograph a certificate so it passes first time
Put the certificate on a flat surface in a contrasting colour so its edges show, and shoot in daylight, away from the shadow of your hand or of the phone itself. Hold the camera parallel to the paper rather than tilted over it, or the certificate comes out skewed and may be rejected. Fill the frame with the sheet alone, with no table or other papers around it. Before you close the camera, zoom in and check that the name, certificate number, and date all read clearly, because those are the fields a reviewer will actually look at.
Choose A4, not automatic sizing
Automatic sizing makes every page match its own image, so you end up with a file whose pages are all different sizes and which looks untidy when printed or reviewed. Choose A4 and each image is placed inside one standard page, which is what official bodies and application systems expect. Drag the images into the order you want before converting: newest certificate first is the usual choice, or whatever order the portal asks for.
A certificate is a sheet carrying your identity
A certificate carries your full name, often your ID number, the issuing body, and your graduation date. Uploading those photos to a free website in exchange for a PDF conversion is a poor trade. Here the conversion runs entirely inside your browser, so the photos are never uploaded and nothing remains with us, because nothing ever reached us.

Which image formats are supported?

The portal rejects my file size. What now?
High-resolution phone photos make a large file. Compress it after converting with the compress tool until it falls under the cap while the text stays readable.
One certificate came out upside down or skewed. Reshoot it?
If it is upside down, fix it with the organize pages tool after converting. Heavy skew is better reshot, since rotating fixes orientation but not the angle you shot from.
