Khallas without the internet
Every tool here already runs inside your browser, so nothing about merging, compressing or numbering needs a network once the code has reached your device. Save one copy and the site keeps working on a plane, in a basement, anywhere with no signal.
Save a copy on your device
One download covering the code for every tool, its fonts, and its pages in both Arabic and English. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is sent; the site's own files come down and your browser keeps them.
Install Khallas as an app
Once the copy is saved you can add Khallas to your home screen, where it opens as an app in its own window with no address bar.
- iPhone and iPad: in Safari, the share button, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android: in Chrome, the three-dot menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Desktop: the install icon in the address bar in Chrome or Edge.
What the copy leaves out, plainly
- Arabic OCR needs a large recognition engine that downloads on first use, and it is deliberately outside this copy so the download stays small. Run the tool once while online and your browser keeps it afterwards.
- Use-case pages and the blog are not saved. Those are articles read online; the tools are what you need without a connection.
- The two optional cloud features need a server by definition, so they do not work offline and are not meant to.
- Clearing the site's browser data deletes the copy, and you can save it again from this page.
Share a file into Khallas from any app
Once installed, Khallas becomes a share target like any other app. Open a PDF or an image in Files, WhatsApp or your mail app, tap Share, pick Khallas, and a page opens showing the file and asking which tool to run. On a computer, Khallas appears under Open with when you right-click a PDF.
- The file goes from the app straight into your browser and passes through no server, exactly as if you had picked it yourself.
- Share more than one file and merging is offered first, with the other tools that fit still listed.
- Sharing needs Android with Chrome, and Open with needs Chrome or Edge on a computer. iPhone supports neither yet, and nothing else changes.
