How is this different from PDF to images?
That tool photographs the whole page, text and lines included. This one hands back the pictures that were placed inside the file, often at far higher resolution than the page shows.
What format do they download as?
Each image gets the format that suits it: PNG where there is transparency, so a logo or stamp keeps its cut-out background, and JPEG for photographs so they don't balloon in size.
Why does a repeated logo appear only once?
Identical images are collapsed into one card that says how many times it appears, so you don't download forty copies of the same letterhead.
Does my file leave the device?
No. Reading the file and extracting its images both happen inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
